Sr. SAP Analyst (MM - PP) - Stamford, CT - Perm - 90 to 115K + bonus - Expert knowledge of supply chain concepts especially around SIOP (sales, inventory and operations planning), emerging technology and SAP new dimensional SCM products (BW, APO-DP, SCP, Portals) The key responsibility of this position is to support existing systems and manage new IT initiatives in the Planning and Manufacturing areas of Supply Chain Management in a global environment. Responsibilities of this position will include: Support of existing supply chain applications Experience in the execution and leading of the Software Development Life Cycle including business case development Experience with formal project and testing methodologies Analyze business requirements and develop system proposals and function specifications. Leading project team to ensure the successful implementation of new IT initiatives on schedule and within budget. Working with business and internal infor/mation technology management and staff to scope, allocate resources and prioritize department projects and efforts. Evaluate technology products; participate in assessment and selection of purchased software applications. Participate in strategic planning for internal information technology as appropriate. Expert knowledge of supply chain concepts especially around SIOP (sales, inventory and operations planning), emerging technology and SAP new dimensional SCM products (BW, APO-DP, SCP, Portals) * 6-8 years IT project experience; familiarity with system implementation standards and methodologies * 3-4 years of experience in implementing/supporting SAP Production Planning (PP) with the emphasis Flexible Planning, Demand Management, MRP and both discrete and recitative manufacturing. * Excellent understanding of SAP MM and PP modules integration with Finance and Product Costing * 2-3 years of demonstrated project leadership skills * Ability to communicate and work well in a cross-functional team environment and also in the offshore/onsite model
